Glengarriff Golf Course
Cashelane is situated in walking distance from the village of Glengarriff, where there are some lovely shops, a grocer, postoffice, hairdresser and beauty saloon. There are also three hotels all of which have lovely restaurants and there are some charachterfull pubs as well. Further Glengarriff is well known for the Garnish Island Tropical garden, which one can reach by taking a lovely boat trip across the harbor and on your way get a chance to see the local seals.
Just up the road from Cashelane is the Glenagrriff Golf club with a superb 9 hole course, but if one prefers just to go for a walk rather than hitting a ball you have just outside the village of Glengarriff a nature reserve with many beautiful walks. Bantry town which is situated just 17 kilometers from Glengarriff is the main shopping town where there is a supermarket, banks, and many more shops. Just outside Bantry on the main road to Glengarriff is and eighteen hole golf course. With the new Ballincolig bypass, the property is just over an hours drive from Cork city and airport with all major flight routes coming in. Shannon airport is just three hours drive from Glengarriff and an hour an half away from Glengarriff is Kerry airport.
